Fr. Edward Sanchez, a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Born in St. Louis and lived in Florida and North Carolina before coming to Wisconsin with his family at 16 years old. Homeschooled through high school, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2013, and went on to earn a master’s degree in math from the University of Illinois. At a FOCUS Conference in 2015 he experienced God’s call to the seminary in a clear and powerful way. During his time at the seminary, He completed his Master of Arts in Theology Studies in preparation for his ordination and completed pastoral internship at St. Michael and St. Rose of Lima parishes in Milwaukee. On April 27, 2019, he was ordained a transitional deacon, and on May 16, 2020 was ordained to the priesthood. Raised Catholic, He enjoys playing basketball, soccer, and board games, as well as praying.
